Saw this blog via Final Draft's Facebook:

If I can get the Breatk Into 3 sorted out on the current draft, I may send mine.
Thought I'd share it at any rate. Happy writing everyone!

| Good point. But at least he's not comparing it to movies that aren't good. Aim high, right?

Oh and I don't really blame him, but if I thought I had that quality of screenplay in my file drawer, I'd already be shopping it through other channels.
I know my work isn't that good.

| Might shoot for the stars for this one. I only hope I at least get the courtesy of a rejection e-mail, even those are hard to come by nowadays.

I actually have something that might be a contender, but his film budget is too low and I doubt he has a distribution deal.
Note that the producer can get away with the word "dramedy" because he doesn't have a screenplay yet. I don't recommend using that word to describe a completed screenplay. Call it a comedy-drama if that's what it is. Dramedy is now a bastardized term that usually refers to a screenplay that was intended to be a comedy but didn't turn out funny.
