Hey Matt,
I've lived in NYC and LA. My best advice is to avoid New Haven. Kidding aside, LA is not so bad. And maybe it's just me, but I think it's a better city to live in when you're single. I was when I lived there and had an amazing two years. Not sure I'd want to raise my kids there...but still love to go!
Welcome to all the new cats!!!
Cheers,
Martin

My handle is RoyalStreet for non-writing reasons. My mom dubbed me David at birth. Either will do. (Or, Dave.)
Just turned 40. I teach elementary school though I'd rather be writing. I've written three screenplays...none I'm too jazzed about...and a few shorts. In the process of trying to get one made.
I've only had Save the Cat! for about a year and enjoyed it immensely. It actually made sense! It was only a few days prior to Mr. Snyder's passing that he accepted me as a friend on Facebook.
I've been looking over this site for a few days and it seems y'all have got a great community. I hope to add to that, all the while learning.

| Sorry you didn't find the site earlier, but we're glad you're here, David.

Hello everyone,
I have actually posted a few questions already so this is kind of backwards. But I am happy to join this forum, to give and receive support. I've been members of other forums where the climate is cold and rude. So I am delighted that to find that this forum is neither.
I have a few scripts in my head that I would like to get out, and the STC books 1 & 2 have been a good start for me.
Nice to meet all of you,
Kevin
