Yay for The Oscars!!

I'm pumped! It will be fun to see what Billy Crystal does to make us laugh Smile

Will any of you Cats be watching?

My vote is for THE ARTIST as Best Picture!

I also loved THE DESCENDANTS and THE HELP, but I think THE ARTIST rocked!

I also love DRIVE, but it was robbed!! Ryan and Albert also robbed!!

But my picks from the ones nominated are -

Woohoo for Jean DuJardin as Best Actor!

Viola Davis as Best Actress!

Octavia Spencer as Best Supporting Actress!

Christopher Plummer as Best Supporting Actor!

Best Original Screenplay - Woody Allen for Midnight in Paris!

Best Adapted Screenplay - Alexander Payne, Nat Faxon and Jim Rash for The Descendants!

Best Original Score - Ludovic Bource for The Artist!


AND APPLAUSE FOR PARIAH winning the John Cassevettes Award at the Indie Spirits!

Yay for Director Dee Rees and Actress, Adepero Oduye!


I'm excited and ready for a fun night with Oscar!

OMG, I agreed with just about everything you said! And I absolutely loved THE ARTIST myself. Disappointed the incredibly talented Viola Davis didn't win.

THE ARTIST... finally a movie that reminds everyone what Cinema was originally about. Telling stories with moving pictures instead of noise (Michael Bay, take note).

No joke, my wife called every single win shown on the Oscars. After a while it got kind of eerie.

I'm going to make sure she's more involved in my writing from here on out.
