I just finished STC3. The book is one hell of a third act. More than I could possibly expect.
Totally brilliant.
Blake gives us SO much in the last book…and up to the last few pages...he saves the best for last.
Thanks Blake, wherever you are, for making life better...one person at a time.
Much love,
Martin

| I don't have it yet. I imagine when we've all read it, it'll be like the Windows 7 commercial with everyone identifying their various contributions: "That was my idea!"

How can I be the only one that has read the new book so far?!
Cheers,
Martin

I just got my copy of Blake's new book today around 5, finished it up in one sitting.
And, as always, Blake delivered a third act FINALE worthy of next year's Oscar....
Incredible and saturated with so much wisdom, it'll take 4 or 5 more readings to absorb it all.
This book, like the others, is short, but dense and layered.
It's obvious Blake took a lot of time to capture and organize and use "THE BOARD" to organize this book so it would deliver maximum impact.
Because of his book, I am now revamping my STC Film Review series to accommodate the new information and knowledge. |

| My local Borders didn't have it. I don't know how it's possible, but it doesn't even register in their computer system even though they sell Blake's other books and most of the MWP books. So I'm ordering it.

Cool...I got it right from STC...and they shipped it really fast. Can't wait for your thoughts, Mike.
Cheers,
Martin

Brilliant book. More of an inspirational piece this time. But man, does it motivate! Aside from the "go get 'em!" words, he has good tools.
My favorites:
7 points for a perfect pitch.
5 beats to finish every story strong.
And finally describing the difference between an agent and a manager!

| I've found the folks at MWP to be very courteous and helpful. I'm sure if you contact them to find out when the book will be available in your country, they will respond promptly.

Hey Mike,
You would know WAY more about this than me...but isn't Save the Cat Press (publisher of book 3) separate from MWP???
Hey Kev,
I got mine directly for the STC web-site and they shipped it right away. On the top of this screen, click the big Blake Snyder logo with the Cat...and it will take you to the site home page. Then simply go to the on-line STC store!
Cheers,
Martin
