Zombieland?

After months of my reading STC! & STC!GTTM excerpts to my husband he is hooked.

So he saw Zombieland and wants to know what it is.
I REALLY don't want to see it...can you help spare me from having to go watch it to answer his question?

His guess is Buddy Love - from his description it doesn't sound like it
to me. Maybe DWIP? MITH with a REALLY big house? Maybe an inverted fish out of water?

I'm not planning on seeing it, but he really wants an answer so... any answers for us out there?

I think it's probably DWAP, but most zomibe movies are and I didn't put a lot of thought into it. But you should see it. It's not a traditional zombie movie-- it's a comedy with zombies. And possibly the best comedy of the year. It's also not as graphically violent as those movies tend to be nowadays. Go see it.

I saw it and BL seems to fit. The zombies are largely a backdrop, with the main story focused on the neurotic hero and his crazy redneck counterpart. At the beginning they are incomplete and broken, but by the end they have bonded (plus B story characters) to form a post-apocalyptic family.

Mike's right about Zombieland being very funny, and I won't be surprised if word of mouth builds its momentum going forward.
